Ouch! Hopefully, they can fix it quickly.

Body shop thats certed by Jag stated it could be a year before they get all the parts from the UK. It hasn't been torn down yet either. The guy hit the rear wheel pretty hard as well so I have no clue what else is damaged or bent. I most likely wont be getting the car back.

Silver lining is I guess I'm in the SVR market now.

+1 for a new SVR! I can vouch for that model. Twice! Loved both of them.

Sucks. Seems like you're Ok, which is great. Also great that you're looking to stick with the F-Pace family, an SVR even better!

Sorry for your misfortune, and hope you're able to squeeze some lemonade from this lemon. Are those SVR wheels on your existing F-Pace?
Yes, I just put them on in May :(

Most def sticking with the F-Pace. The car did amazing to keep me safe and was even able to chase after the guy after being smacked doing 65 mph. I loved my S for the short time I've owned it (3 months) but I guess its a chance to go to the Pivi or ICP. Going from the ICP to the standard nav unit was a bit of a disappointment coming from the XE R-Sport that had the Pro.

Was washing the F-Pace when a matching butterfly (albeit a bit tattered (but still a good flier)) stopped by:

Baking soda. Defunkifying a months-long smell of steamed crabs (I live in Maryland, after all!) and a bag of trash (in the car at separate times and only for about 30 minutes each). I had used tarp to haul and nothing spilled anyway. Yet the carpet has been holding onto the smell, which has been showing no signs of fading despite my previous deodorizing attempts with other methods. I should have gone with baking soda first. The smell vanished after only a few minutes of spreading baking soda around. Good stuff, and I'll be leaving it in place (on the floors as well) for the next several days before vacuuming it all up.

You won't regret the SVR....best investment we made. Dreading parts issues now though god forbid anyone hits us. We are in Australia.

MikeJagSVO,

Thanks for hopefully bringing this thread back to life. It was an enjoyable one. Nice pic, of your SVR, what color is that again? Sweet!

Awesome, I must have missed that post. Mine is wrapped with a Satin PPF as well, but it's clear to show through the Eiger Grey. Completely changing the color is very cool. And the fact that it was black to start will make the door jam color a non-issue for the most part which was a bit of a concern to me when doing the satin. Love the Satin Red.
