I installed these (Seat Belt Extender for 2017 Jaguar F-Pace Front Seats - E4 Safe | eBay) in the front seat buckles so I don't have to listen to the ding-ding-ding crap while I'm doing short drives, parking lot maneuvers or whatever (Don't ASSUME I don't use my seatbelts, so get off my back will ya)..I keep the rear seats always buckled up..Then the display on start up always shows all belts fastened..

Just thought I would pass this on.
I am not a thin guy, but also not that fat, so I say I could lose about 40 LBS and I would be happy.
I was always digging to put on my seat belt, so I bought these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I3FA90U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . Now the seat belt is right up at the top of the console and nice and easy putting on the seat belt. These fit my 17 F-Pace, there are different sizes, from 3 inch to 8 inch. 3 inches helps a lot, but the 5 inch brings them to the top of the console. For those who want these make sure they are type A tongue width: 21.5mm, hole width: 11.5mm, hole length: 20mm, measurement of metal bar between top of hole and tip of metal tongue. that is what fit my car.

 

I like the idea - I'm not too big of a guy but still have to dig down to get the belt in. Pics on how they look in the car?

Sorry I have not been around much, so I missed this topic, and put it in the wrong area.

 

It really works nice now the coat weather is here. I have one in the passenger side also, it really helps when I pick up my 87 year old mother, she can now fasten it herself.

 

We have short extenders on the driver's side of both the F-Pace and the F-Type. They're very handy, but one note of caution:

If you put one on the passenger's side, the car will think that you have a child seat and turn off the air bag.

 

That’s not good. Plus don’t you want the belt as low as possible around your waist.?

If I use this and do not connect the actual seat belt to it will the sensor bell stop ringing????

Sometimes I don't want to wear the belt and don't want to hear the chime either.

This could be a temp solution until I get some Harness clips from the junk yard

 

Yes while they are in, it show there is a person in the seat, and the chime does not ring.

I never thought about the air bag not working, but your not suppose to put a Child in the front seat, and most people are in the seat, and put on the belt before they start the car, so that doesn't make sense.
There is no indicator that the air bag is shut off on the passenger side, I leave both extenders clipped into the belt at all times. It does have a green indicator that there is a person in the passenger side when I start the car.

 

I bought mine on Amazon. They work great. And stop the chime
