Not to burst your bubble but I had a set on my F 150 and wasn't impressed with the quality of the mounting hardware and they were a pain in the arse to clean. But good luck.

Just placed an order for the Red Caliper covers from MGP. Went with the leaper on front and back. I was going to have them painted/powder coated, but thought this would be good alternative. I hope they tie in well with the center caps and front growler.

Which model do you have? I have R-Sport and they said it's not available for R-Sport and S model yet. Because the rotar is different than 17 size? I have no idea if the rotar in R sport and others are different size. I have 20 inch wheels.

Can you please give the specs of what MGP used for the 20" please. I just spoke with them and again they are saying they do not have covers for 2017 fpace 35t R-Sport?

I got them for my 650i with the BMW logo. Easy to install. I actually think they will cut down on brake dust a bit as they cover the caliper.

Why not have them coated? That is what I am planning.

 

I had thought about it, but just decided to go this route. Maybe a commitment issue I have.

Also, should be able to install next week while on vacation. Pic will be up then.

 

Finally got around to this. Here are some pic and my thoughts.

I really like the size of the rear covers. These to a little more work to install than expected. The front covers are larger than expected but understandable. These went on fairly easy. There has not been any clearance issues thus far.

The one thing the S has that my R-Sport needs is red brake calipers. Has anyone done the MGP covers (or any other brand)? Pros and cons? Easy to install?

They promised me FREE caliper covers if I volunteer to let them design the caliper cover on my R-sport. Measurement appointment is for 1-2 hours. Unfortunately, I leave 300miles far. The company is in San Diego, CA.

Any fellow F-Pacer from san Diego interested in FREE caliper covers? I would love to buy one after they design it for R-sport.

Correct me if i'm wrong but I believe the calipers on the FP are all the same model to model. The one exception would be the S where they are painted red.

Can't speak to the size of them, but I'm sure that the "non-S" calipers don't have the cover on them, so they're likely just plain calipers.

 

Don't believe the S comes from the factory with a cover, its the standard caliper just painted red.

As stated I believe the calipers are physically al the same thus the MGP covers should work for all models.

 

Wait....may be wrong about the cover, just saw an image of a "S" caliper and there looks to be a cap. Not a full cover, more like a red center cap.

RS has no cover and looks very different than S/FE.

 

Here is a pic of front caliper on a "S" FP. Looks to me like a the standard FP caliper painted red with a cap and logo.

 

Has anyone been able to confirm if the "S" factory caliper cap is available as an item to purchase?
