Haven’t really noticed it however I think it’s dumb that they only offer the Pixel Led headlight upgrade on non-US models.

 

Did you perhaps come from a vehicle that had fog lights? Im came from an SRT Jeep that had HIDs and LED fogs and I guess maybe it’s not as bright as that setup was, but I wouldn’t say it’s something I regularly think about or notice.

@RJSJag - I agree with you about the pixels and I’ll add that I wish we could have the animated turn signals as well here in the states!

 

I haven't really noticed on mine other than the high beams being a little less bright compared to my 2019 SVR.

 

We can thank US laws for this. We are still stuck with lighting rules from the damn 70s

I was thinking about trying to find someone on here from the UK who’d be willing to try and get a pair of Pixels from the dealer and ship them to me but I’d imagine they’re insanely expensive. Theirs look so much better too because rather then a bright orange reflector in the corner they have another LED light.

They would probably need the dealer to flash the vehicles system so they work. And that’s probably where you’d hit a snag here in the states.

They do but if you take a closer look, they all have another piece of the signal that is steady on while the animation is working. Your eye may not have noticed the steady because it likely follows the motion, but that’s how they do it.

 

you need to option the pixel leds

they do look different, pixel led has 4 rectangular lenses inside the headlight, and do the dynamic sweep left to right when you unlock/lock

Right. Can't tell what country your little username flag is displaying but it's not USA. That's the point, we CAN'T option the Pixel headlights due to US regualtory laws from many mnay decades ago.

 

be interesting to purchase the pixel and install them on a USA variant f pace. My hunch is that with this new vehicle architecture it my just be plug and play; or maybe like 1 line code change.

 

Would be worth a shot, I just wonder how much they cost..

Hmmm, two years will be 2023, so they might, just might, be finally optional for us USA folks.....assuming the chip shortage is over and there is not a CV-20,21.....

OTOH some enterprising close to the Canadian ("Pixel" lights are an F Pace option there today) border F Pace entrepreneur might figure out a package of parts and how to code them at a reasonable price (? $1,500? who knows). I would think if done right there would be an almost zero chance of Johnny Law even noticing and coming after you.

I have a 2021 f pace 250 S

My low beam Premium LED headlights are very dim on my 2021F Pace 250 S. Three Jag dealerships say they have no other complaints. My Mercedes GLE 2020 has very bright low beams. Go figure???

 

Agree, Jaguar's headlight is dim compared to other luxury brands, the design is very similar to VW,toyota, and old BMW.

I noticed the headlights don’t project as far like my 2020 S. My 2022 SVR, and I think all FPace’s don’t come with bend lighting either.

 

I have 2021 SVR. Did you try to to raise vertical alignment?

 

These kind headlights should be illegal in any vehicle, especially at this price range. I had to do modifications on a new car just to feel safe driving it at night.

 

I don't know....my 2022 is just fine in the dark! I come from a Trackhawk which was abysmal for lighting! For me, this was a definite upgrade!
