WiFi problem

I have a 2019 FPace and am having problems connecting to wiFi.
When the vehicle went out of warranty I bought a new sim card through the dealer and was able to connect through my phone using it as a hot spot. This allows me to see real time traffic. Last week it stopped working. When I try to connect to wiFi the system does not detect any networks including my phone in the area. It just continues to spin as if searching.
Anyone have this problem?
It's possible that the car's SIM card died. After 5 years the SIM card that came with my 2019 FPace S died. I could tell the SIM card was dead because the Mobile Data info screen was blank and the 4G icon on the upper right of the center console display was replaced with a circle with a line through it. I also saw that on my AT&T account usage page there weren't any bytes going to my car's phone number, meaning my car was never connecting to a cell tower. I had the dealership obtain another 4G SIM card ($55) and a Jag service technician then used a Jaguar/AT&T provisioning application and associated the new SIM ID with my car, replacing the old/dead SIM ID. The reassignment process must be done by a Jaguar dealership. Been working fine ever since. I never knew what zorched the original SIM.
