When I open the weather app and use the my location tab it shows my location ok but the temperature is in celsius. I’ve checked to make sure the units in setting are in Fahrenheit. If I change the units to Celsius then back to Fahrenheit the weather app will then show the correct temperature. Anyone else have this issue?

I had the same issue after the recent update. I had to go into the options and select Celsius instead of Fahrenheit and then switch it back to Fahrenheit. That fixed it for me.

Is there anything on this app that tracks severe weather watches and warnings that are issued for the area you are driving in?

I did the same Newfound, but I need to do that every time I open the app. At least that’s how mine works.
Same experience here after we did some traveling this week. Dang... thought that was the fix. Yet another thing to bring up to the service advisor when it goes in later this month.

Nothing I have seen. Even my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Uconnect system had severe weather warnings and a radar map. Definitely a few short comings with their weather widget / app. Good news is that it is a specific app called out in their 'live apps', so maybe there will be future updates to it.

I had the same JGC 2014 that did the same, that’s why I’m asking. It was helpful in some situations traveling. We were once in GA and a tornado actually crossed I75 2 miles ahead of us…but we seen the warning on Uconnect and it prompted us to get active on our phones and see what’s happening. That’s why I think this is such an important feature as long as you have any kind of data connection. I can’t believe that all systems don’t do this just as a matter of course for the safety of the occupants. You could dismiss or shut it off if you don’t like it……
