So my SVR has the 22" wheels on it and came with the P-Zero all-season tires. I want to change them out for Summer performance tires and am thinking Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. They offer the exact 265/40/22 front size and a 285/35/22 rear that offers as much tread width as the stock 295/35/22. They also have a 315/30/22 that is about 1 inch wider tread width and 1 inch wider section width. It will certainly work on the 22x11" rear wheels but curious if anyone has put a tire that wide on the rear and if it worked without rubbing?

QShip5,

I think your issue could be that a 315 should only be mounted on a 10.5 rim or wider. I'm pretty sure the stock SVR Rears are 22x10 not 22x11. You can probably push the mounting, but I would think it might not allow the tread to lay perfectly flat. I'm pretty darn positive it would fit though since there is plenty of room all around the rear tire if you look back there. I would be concerned with the mounting if the SVR rear wheels are in fact 22x10s which I'm pretty sure they are. My spec on them is 22x10 ET 40.

also, if you find it will work, you could go with a wider front tire as well. At 285/35 22 will fit up there fine. I've run 285/35 22 on 22x10.5 ET 35 rims up front with absolutely no rubbing.

Interestingly enough, I'm looking to get summer tires for my SVR as well. I was going to order two more rear stock SVR Jag rims and go with the 22x10 rim all around and do 305s on the back but I can't seem to find a rear tire at 305 that matches up with the 285/40 I would put on the front. So I've decided to go with Pirelli P Zeros at 285/40 22 and 315/35 22 on my 22x10.5 Ace Alloys instead. Only about a 1/4 inch bigger all round over the stock SVR tires at 31 inches tall they should clear all around based on my calculations. By the way the 285/40 on 10 or 10.5 rim on the front is the absolute largest tire you can get on the front of the F-Pace. Anything taller or wider will hit the top of the spindle since it arcs over the tire on the inside.
