My entire infotainment system stopped working for a day, and before it went it flashed ‘ SIM card removed.’ When I started up the next day, phone, radio etc were all back, but no signal from the SIM. I’ve tried removing, cleaning and returning, but nothing. The car is a 2016 First Edition.
Any thoughts?

Three possibilities: Sim failure, Socket failure, or software. Most like one of the first two. Sim would be the easier (and cheapest) to address by going by an AT&T store are picking up a new Sim. If the car reads that Sim, you're on your way. Unfortunately, a bad socket (or cable) means a trip to the dealer and you're beyond warranty. It would be a bit odd that the whole infotainment system went out if it's just the sim, since they can be inserted/removed independently.

If you're still on the original battery, on general principle, I'd put it on a CTEK overnight, just to make sure it's not a odd symptom of a power issue. It doesn't seem like the cause, but power cause all kinds of wonky issues.
