Can anyone give me info on the proper tool to remove the oil filter housing cap on the 2.0L Ingenium Diesel engine?

Bought one this week, and I wanted to make sure it would fit before I responded.
You need any 64mm 14 flute oil filter (cap) wrench. I bought mine on Amazon. There are a lot to choose from

is this tool required? or is it just difficult to do by hand?

edit: I figured it out. Never had a vehicle with this setup before. found a video on youtube showing a toyota oil change. Same setup.
