Okay fellow F-Pacers, I've got a new one for all, and I'm hoping to figure out a solution to this problem. Recently I have been seeing a message that reads "Stability Control Not Available Drive With Care" on the dash next to speedometer (see photo). It happens randomly driving off from a stopped position and only when the auto start/stop is activated.

Does anybody have an idea what is causing this? I was thinking maybe it has something to do with the condition of the battery.... I can't seem to find anything related to this warning in the manual.

My 20D has recently started doing this when the auto start/stop is engaged as well. Maybe it is the battery…..mine is a 2018 so close to same age. I need to take mine in for the 100K service so I’m going to ask about it. Seems to only happen when the auto start/stop is active.

As is the case with mine. Please let me know what they say in your case, as I suspect it will be the same for me.

I don't have an answer for you, but 4 years ago while out on a ride I got multiple cautions for no obvious reason:

1. Stability Control Not Available Drive With Care
2. AEB Not Available
3. Forward Alert Not Available
4. ASPC Not Available

I was unable to clear them while driving.
Stopped for lunch and of course they were all gone and haven't seen them since.
No idea what caused them or why they went away.
Go figure.

In your case, I might try turning the DSC on and off a few times and switching from DSC to TRACDSC a few times:

To switch the DSC system off, press and hold the DSC OFF button, located on the center console, for more than 3 seconds.
An audible warning tone sounds. The instrument panel temporarily displays the DSC OFF message and also illuminates the DSC OFF warning lamp to confirm that DSC is disabled.

To switch on the DSC system, press and release the DSC OFF button, located on the center console.
The instrument panel temporarily displays the DSC on message and also extinguishes the DSC OFF warning lamp to confirm that the DSC system is enabled.

To switch between DSC and TracDSC, press and hold the DSC OFF button, located on the center console, for less than 3 seconds.
The instrument panel temporarily displays the TracDSC or the DSC on message to confirm selection.
The instrument panel illuminates the DSC OFF warning lamp while TracDSC is enabled, to confirm that DSC is disabled.
The amber DSC warning lamp flashes when DSC or TracDSC activates

Thanks @skyking, I'll give these a try later today. I'm kind of leaning toward a battery issue, but who knows with Jag.

It sounds like a battery issue, but my suggestion was just a shot in the dark, something you could easily try. One thing I do since the F-Pace is so battery sensitive is always have it hooked up to a battery tender and lock the doors, so the electronic modules fully go to sleep as soon as possible.
I did have stop start issues 2 years ago. The battery was fine but an update to the gateway module got it working again. But I always turn it off as I back the car out of the garage.

What battery tender do you use and how is it hooked up? Yeah, my start/stop didn't work about 1 year ago. Pete had the tech "flash" the gateway module and it started functioning normally. The issue has something to do with the start/stop function (or battery) because when that's off; the message doesn't appear. I hope when they flashed the module, they didn't mess things up.

I use the Battery Tender 4.5 Amp model that’s sold at Costco. I have all my cars on them, one being an older version. As stbentoak does, I use the posts under the front hood. Easy peasy.

UPDATE. Okay I think I may have solved my problem and wanted to share my results. I purchased a battery tender as some have mentioned. Charged the battery using the connections under the hood and so far all is good. Driven the car during the same times/routes as before and no warning message. I had always heard the F-Pace batteries were the lifeblood of the electronics, and so this does in fact look to be the case, at least for me. Thanks to all that replied to my post. 😁
