Meridian surround Subwoofer audio signal wires in 2020 F-Pace

I'm wanting to tap in to the Meridian Surround subwoofer signal in my 2020 F-Pace SVR so I can add a subwoofer to this system. A lot of threads mentioned the sub in the wheel well, but most haven't actually seen it and there are many different answers out there as to which color wires carry the sub audio signal and I wanted to make sure I tap into the correct wires. So I just went for it... Took of the rear drivers side wheel, removed all the fasteners holding in the wheel well liner and sure enough all the way up in the wheel well, oddly mounted and looking out of place, was the subwoofer. I've taken some pics for those who want to see the placement of the sub and visual confirmation of the wire colors.

Interesting, it’s an IB (infinite baffle) installation.
Are you just tapping the signal or replacing the sub driver with something else?
Just tapping in for now and as I have a few sub boxes just sitting around. If I can find a nice upgrade to replace the stock woofer driver that's the way I'll eventually go
Great pictures, thank you. What diameter is the factory subwoofer?

Good job, wish this was done before I did what you did. My post for a 2020 shows the wires. I did the same thing you did and took off the wheel. Could have saved you the time to do what you did.
