CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation:
The front Parking Aid System may sound when no objects are nearby the vehicle.

Cause:
This may be caused by the front bumper interfering with the parking aid sensor reporting area.

Action:
Should a Customer express this concern, follow the Diagnostic Procedure below.

NOTE: the fix is a simple, short installation reconfiguration

You think its the same with the rear? There are times that I place it in reverse and the parking sensor will beep as if I am about to hit something but theres nothing there, then it goes away a second later.

Just make sure the sensors are clean
