Does anyone know when they will have them at the dealership? I’m curious to see one before I buy another car.

I would expect to start seeing them at various auto shows if those are still being held with limited capacity and/or outdoors
Otherwise feb/Mar deliveries sound about right.

Oh I hope so! There’s nothing out there showing dates or prices
I know it's not the same as seeing it in person, but check out this video from Jaguar on the 2021 refresh, if you haven't already. It talks about the exterior and interior updates. Better than still photos.

I like the interior, but I do wish the screen was better integrated, it does look stuck on. But I think I could get used t that. The graphic with all the sub computer modules and the 3 domains got me a little worried with the amount of tech that needs to be integrated and updated. I'm concerned that the 2021 models will have some gremlins to be sorted out so perhaps the best plan would be to wait until 2022 to buy one of these new vehicles. Can't wait to hear what the SVR will bring. I'm wondering if they will do something in the way of a PHEV on top of the existing V8 supercharged engine. More than likely it will be the same drivetrain tuned up to maybe 600 HP, along with a mild 48volt hybrid system.

Still plan on waiting to 2022 to upgrade I think. Lot's changed and that means a lot of areas to work bugs out of.

I watched all 31+ minutes - narrators never blinked once! Robots?

My five-year warranty runs out the second model year of this version. Perfect timing.

My time frame is the same as yours.
Think they've done a good job with the changes, in general. Couple of things I'm not sure of, but mostly impressed.
I was planning to leave Jaguar at the 5 year point, but if Pivi Pro is stable, I might consider staying.
As long as they continue the 5 year warranty and maintenance.

I’m hoping they work out any kinks by my 10 year F-Pace anniversary which is when I’ll be ready for a new vehicle.

Howdy!
These 2 lines... Intriguing!

If current InControl is a deal breaker for your future Jag, then that plus a lesser Warranty is enough to move you to other brands?

That is a perfectly reasonable stance..

It implies that the driving, comfort, style and reliability requirements have been suitably met by Jaguar for you?

I don't ask as a Troll but as a newbie Jag owner looking for what deficiencies JLR need to focus on.

All are encouraged to reply!:)

In Control Touch Pro was a mess at rollout in 2017. It’s working well now, especially after the addition of Apple CarPlay. The remote app is still not 100% for me. But the dealer bricked a $3000 module during a software update before over the air updates began.
So, love the car, no other real problems.
Yes, driving, comfort, and style requirements have been met.
Reliability I have concerns about.
My concerns for the 2021 specifically center around the new entertainment system.
The 5 year maintenance included warranty with Jaguar is extremely important if I decide to stay with the brand.
I don’t want to own any brand of expensive vehicle out of warranty.

I can't imagine why a number of manu keep on sticking an iPad to the dash.
I initially thought the display looked a bit like an iPad stuck on, but it’s growing on me. The size and position mean it will be a lot more functional and in-reach of the driver. To me, this is much better positioned than the stick-up screens a lot of manufacturers are putting at the top of the dash.

I think dash integrated displays are difficult to achieve when you want to go bigger, especially in a smaller SUV. There’s only so much space to work with.

Other car players are trying to play catch up with Tesla, the huge screen in Tesla is definitely nerd porn feature ;)

Agree with this 100%!
The other interior upgrades more than make up for it. Plus it’s larger. Bigger is better, at least that’s what they tell me. 😄

I agree and it will be out a year before we have to make a decision. One big negative for us is no more Diesel offerings. My wife makes many 300+ mile round trips to visit my daughter in another town and 35-40 MPG with smooth cruising in this type of vehicle is hard to turn down. It does look sharp though, but ultimately it will be my wife's decision, its her vehicle....
