Hello everybody,
My Jag is 2017 model with the old dashboard display graphic. Do you know whether is possible I to receive a software upgrade to 2019 Jag futures?

ICT or ICTP?
ICTP with:
FULL TFT/LCD INSTR CLUSTER
PRO SERVICES AND WI-FI HOTSPOT

I mean to update the instrument cluster view not the center console display. Mine is display with three circle sections, while I noticed the new ones are with two and information part in the centre.
What a pity, I suppose it is a software visualisation to the dashboard screen.

no Unfortunately. The new and old dashboards have different constructions. The program does not change.
If you’re asking if you can update your ICTP to the newer look software of the 2019 models, then YES, you absolutely CAN update to the refreshed software that includes carplay, ability to do over the air updates, etc. on the 2017 ICTP models that originally did not come with it. I did it on mine. It does require a trip to the dealership and around 4 hours to do it (in my case) but it’s a no cost update from JLR.
As far as the speedo cluster goes, I’m not aware of that part being able to be updated.
Sorry to dig up something a bit old, but can anyone clarify as to why this isn't possible? From my past experience with infotainment/speedometer mods, I can see why it may not be possible as a software update only, but if it one were to purchase a new/used digital speedometer from a 2019+ car, and it physically has the same fitment and wiring pinout as the previous cluster, I'm not seeing how it would present any (major) issue. Yes, you may have to reprogram VIN/miles at Jaguar, but without there being a total system upgrade (i.e. 2021+ F-Pace) I don't see how changing the entire cluster wouldn't be worth a shot.

However, I am brand new to Jaguar and am completely aware there may be other issues involved, and am just looking for an explanation. Otherwise, I'm keeping my eyes open for a used 2019-2020 cluster to try and swap. I'll order one that has a good return policy just in case. ;)

I'm also interested in upgrading my 2017 F Pace with a 2019 Speedometer. The newer style of the grafics is worth trying.
Have anyone done this before?

Digging up an old thread, but I am interested in doing this as well. Might be able to find a salvage vehicle from a "Pick-a-part" and reconfigure to the new style gauges. Love my 2017 but the gauges seem like a waste of space with the far left one always not really in use.
