Hi, I took my car, 2017 F-Pace S type, with 85,000 miles, to the dealership because of low coolant light that came on came on. No visible leakage under the car. After tests, they determined I have a leak in multiple places. Leaking from front coolant crossover pipe, water pump, and three way hose coming from coolant reservoir. The warranty is paying for the water pump replacement. The estimate is $2500. This price reflects my out of pocket cost. Has anyone had a similar thing happen? Is this a fair cost of the things that need to be done? Thanks!
My wife’s 2017 F Pace Sport is doing the same thing. It’s been to the shop 3 times and had a new water pump and 3 way hose replaced, but it still has a slow leak somewhere that I can’t find. The car has 80k miles on it and this is really frustrating! From what I’ve read here it sounds like my next step it to replace every coolant hose on it. Before this happened we were thinking of trading it in on an F Type but this is making me seriously think twice about ever buying another Jaguar product.

What I can say regarding this coolant problem is that my 2017 with 34k had the water pump replaced and several hoses and it still smelled like coolant a year later every time I drive it. I’m convinced the leak was never quite fixed and after having an oil leak and an alternator go out before 40k I did get rid of the car. I’ve also sent Jaguar a lengthy email and never did get a response so I guess I know where customers stand. Although the F Type is cool it’s alot of money to spend for maybe the same problem and Jaguar doesn’t care if they have faulty design or parts or whatever is causing this repeated coolant issue. Every Jaguar owner needs to hold the brand accountable and continuously complain until they remedy this. Unacceptable to spend this much money on a car and it have these problems.
