I had seen that the side panels on the door inside the SVR are made of carbon and thought that it would also fit well in my S. Now I checked the part number of the carbon parts and saw that "strangely" there are 2 versions. One "¹Aluminum Weave Carbon Fiber Veneer Trim Finish" and "²Carbon Fibre, Veneer Trim" (picture). Also noticed that one version costs about ¹~£2,000 and the other version costs ²~£170.

Does anyone know what the difference is between these two?

I have a 2020 SVR. When I ordered the car the carbon fiber option was about $1200. I didnt buy it. The car came standard with the aluminum weave door panels and a very shinny piano black piece around the shifter. It shows every little scratch and finger print. I bought the carbon shifter piece for about $300 because It will not show finger prints. The door panel is the stock aluminum and the shifter pic is carbon fiber. The little black patch to the right of the shifter is just a piece of rubber to stop my phone from ending up in the back seat. It is an SVR after all.

Looks stunning!
From what I found out there is only one carbon version for the part around the switch. And only for the SVR.
There is also a carbon version with a matte finish for the one with the rising gear selector in the Jaguar XE but it looks completely the same as the one for the F-pace so it could very likely fit.

It is a genuine/factory Jaguar part.

The part number is: "T4A17723"
Thanks for the quick response. For some reason I can’t find that part when I look online. Do you by chance know where it’s available for purchase? I’m getting ready to purchase a 2020 Jaguar F-Pace SVR that has the gloss black around shifter and would like to replace with this.

Sorry for the late reply, missed the post.
Personally, I find "Woxparts.com: Spare parts | Cars, Trucks, Buses" pretty good at least here in Europe in terms of prices and availability. They also deliver to us, but you probably have to import the part from Europe to the us anyway, so I assume the price will be about the same.
Of course you can also go to your local Jaguar dealership and order it there and also compare the price
