Well, not to outdo anyone here, but my FP costs $319.10 per six months (638.20/yr). The XKR is $306.60, the Jeep $117.10 (it has liability only). Geico, and that is with the huge hail damage claim last year ($50 deductible). Clean driving record, AARP age. :crying:
My FP is cheaper than my 4 yr old JGC, go figure ( But I put triple the miles on the JGC per yr and they know it...) and both are less than 600.00 per year. Have been from day one... Not rock bottom coverage either....
I think Insurance is very location and state law dependent. But of course driving record+ other insurance bundled etc is also a factor. I also get a healthy discount for paying all my insurance all at once in one bill for everything in Jan of every year. Makes for a tough month, but prob saves me 500.00 a year vs multiple payments annually....
If you start comparing rates, you have to look at your coverage for comparison. Otherwise, the policies can't be properly compared.
Myself (accident and ticket free), I have:
0 Deductible Comprehensive
500 Deductible Collision
20% Additional Payout for Total Loss (Car Replacement Assistance)
Uninsured Motorist at 300/500/100
The only coverage I don't carry is towing and rental reimbursement.
$875 a year with large rebate at the end of the year based on all insurance payments with USAA.
BTW, policy cost increased this year from $730. There was a general rate increase in the Atlanta area and I changed to 0 comprehensive deductible, which gives me no cost windshield coverage.
another data point for the insurance difference between a 380hp $70k car and a 550hp $90k car:
Progressive Insurance - Clean driving record, no points, tickets, or at-fault accidents. Discounts - 15 years continuous coverage, homeowner, multi-policy (single auto and condo), 5 year accident...
If it is not too personal for you..
Post here what your insurance rate is for your F-Pace per annual or semi-annual..I am interested in primarily single car ownership (so not to muddy the waters with multi-car discounts)and what Insurance Company you have.

Last week I had a major orthopedic surgery. I'm currently on crutches and have not been able to drive.
So today after PT, I decide to go into my apartment garage to check on my car and this is what I find, along with a note from the person who did it. I am a complete nutcase when it comes...
