Tough decision!

Hi All,

I am new to the forum and have decided to purchase a 2019 F-pace. I would like some opinions because I have a tough decision at hand. My options are as follows based on a local dealer:
-25T Prestige with Park package, Drive package and 360 degree camera or
-30T Prestige with Drive package and technology package (~2K more than the 25T)

Ideally I would love to have one with both the Park package and technology package but unfortunately they don't have that config. My question is as owners of the F-pace if you had a choice between the Park package and Technology Package which would you choose?

The 30T. You’re just looking for back-up so you can justify spending the extra $2K ;-). Bigger engine, and the better sound system (W/ CD/DVD) is worth it. The only reasons to get the 20T would be the $, and that you really would use the park assistance a lot and need to buy now. I’d rarely use the parking. You could just hold off until you can get both, or order what you want.

Another vote for 30T. I've been driving mine for a full year, and just had a 25T service loaner. The power difference was noticeable -- more lag, more shifting, less fun.

Forget the tech features as the decider, get the extra HP.

where are you located? you may be able to find some amazing deals if you can cast your net wider. there was a $2500 cash rebate last month on all F-Paces, it's down to $1000 now but as 2020s start showing up you'll see some better deals on 19s, maybe even on a S with all the options. 0% APR seems to be every month.
I was ready to fly down to Florida to buy until my local dealer price matched their offer on a similar build; it saved me about $2500 off of their "final" price without that hard quote.

but between those 2 I'd definitely say 30T and spend some time practicing your parallel parking, that would be 90% of the reason to get the park package. not to scrape the rims. the cameras are nice, but the park assist never seemed to work when I tried it so I park myself anyways.

I've driven there 25T and I thought it had good pickup but it was a little laggy off the line. Taking what Hoopics says, I would always go for the slightly more potent engine so you could avoid that lag. Especially if it is truly only 2k difference.
