Hardwiring QI Charger

In case anyone is interested, I've hardwired a "fast charger" and it came out very stock looking, actually even an owner would be hard pressed to notice.
I know some others have installed a charger and just tucked the wire along the center console into the USB socket. That works, but this is more a stock look that you can't notice and works at a fast charge rate as well as the phone hits the sweet spot easily, no playing around to get it to work.
For anyone interested, I disassembled a $18 fast charger off Amazon and using a tap a fuse, 12V car adapter, some wire and foam and parts of a phone case I spray painted, I hooked it up to empty spot on our passenger side fuse panel, but properly (not upside down).
In order to make it stock I needed to take off some panels, some center console pieces, but it was very easy and no professional tools are required, but you won't be able to find a wire anywhere.
Ultimately I did this because I was just putting my phone there anyway, so now it charges but at a fast rate! If you have any questions just ask.
The project cost me $35 CAN

Thanks. I used a multimeter and found I have 3 empty fuse spots. So if you look at the pic, that's a good spot for your radar detector or just below (2nd row).
*Make sure you put the "Add a Fuse" in the proper way (should be facing down, not up) as our current comes in on the left side.

I saw this one on aliexpress, but it was thick and I'm not sure about the quality or the connectivity. The one I dissasembed from Anker ensured I could fast charge undoubtedly, and it's easy to place anywhere on my pad, with the case on. Many charges have issues with these two variables.
Having said that, there is a video (the one in your ad), on YouTube if you're interested to see it live.

I'd love to do this with ours... although I'll have to wait until the wife leaves for a month before I start popping panels
