Cool Upgrade for Meridian 380W User - Middle dash speaker

Meridian 825W system users please ignore this topic

For those 380W system users, I just saw something online as a AD. An upgrade solution: add-on middle dash speaker (Coaxial midrange/tweeter). This is not a Meridian product! See AD pics below.

As human nature - We would like to fill HOLES we saw. LOL. To figure out if this product fit our F-pace(the AD says it's made for F-pace/Land Rover). I opened my F-pace middle dash speaker cover, the screw holes seems identical location-wise. But I didn't see any cable left, not sure how to do the connection part and no idea if the computer can support an extra speaker/compatibility.

Just sharing the info. here. Any idea / comments?

It is OEM Jaguar-LR central speaker (there is logo in the label).
There is no cable for central speaker in 380W system.

I've installed to my F-Pace speaker from XF, which is better (in my opinion).

There's no easy way to add a Center Speaker, though one member has produced one from the wires going to the left and right speaker channels. The best way to do it would require a complete rewire after the Factory Amp if it is the ICT version and not the Plus. That would involve tapping the active crossovers and feeding them into a DSP unit like a JL Audio Clean Sweep that would "de-DSP" them then run into a dolby processor or amp so that you could have surround sound.

It's a shame there doesn't seem to be anything in between.

I guess i never even realized that underneath that grill for a speaker......there was no speaker!

If you ask me, the 380W systems is sorely lacking a decent subwoofer. Very weak bass in this car.
