Frameless rear view mirrors

Hi understand the ‘19 MY comes with frameless rear view mirrors ( like the E and I Pace). This should be swappable with earlier mirrors right? Anyone have the part number by any chance?

Why do you assume it’s swappable ?

I'm actually surprised that DP didn't just go ahead and tell you it's NOT !!!

And then later on next week , we find out it indeed IS !!!

That's happened a time , or two , or three with DP !!!

I guess when you're dealing with being RIGHT or WRONG ,
DP always figures he's got at least a 50-50 chance every time !!!

Just was wondering why he thought that, the mirror might be sawppable. It has the 3 buttons built in for the garage door they are in the middle now on the frameless, not on the drivers side like the previous models. It seem like JLR are trying to reduce the LHD / RHD options and have more parts be the same across the line.

I usually only give a firm yes / no when I really know, so there ya go.

I like the frameless mirror. I replaced the mirror with the frame with a new one without a frame.

Do you know that "homelink" is an expensive option in most other countries? (Other than the U.S.of A., that is.)

The cost of the option is $ 300, but without the option of dimming a mirror for $ 230 you cannot choose. 530 total
