Went in for windshield recalibration...came back with a parking aid fault

Wondering if this is a known issue or if anyone else has experienced a similar issue. I just had my cameras recalibrated after replacing the windshield. All that seems to be working fine but then discovered that the front parking sensors no longer activate when I got home. Reverse sensors are active and functioning. But in Drive, the light just flashes amber a few times and then shuts off. The self-park feature and side sensors don’t work either. When I got the vehicle back I noticed that a number of the ICTP (like the clock) and dash preferences were reset - wondering if there’s a setting buried in the menu somewhere to simply turn the sensors back on? Or if this might be a new issue related to the firmware......or something worse.

I took the car back in to get it checked out but the techs were unable to find any glaring problems. Was told to come back on Monday so they can spend more time troubleshooting. Hopefully it’s a quick fix

Who replaced the windshield? Was it an OEM windshield? Who did the recalibration?

A local installer. They sourced the OEM windshield from the dealer that did the recalibration. Windshield is working fine - including the heater, highbeam assist, adaptive cruise, etc. The front and side parking aid fault only happened after the dealer performed the recalibration. I even used the parking sensors to pull into their garage. I’m thinking it’s a software issue since there’s no error message or warning associated with the fault and because all the settings were reset. I’m running a later version of ICTP with CarPlay

Based on what you sad the ICTP wa reset, you need to turn the auto on feature back on. It’s off by default.

Drive slowly forward towards a wall, when you get close press the foward sensor button, once the screen comes up, press the gear in the lower left, then toggle, Auto on finction.

That’s the problem though. The screen isn’t coming up. When I push the forward sensor button, the light flashes Amber a few times and then goes off. No screen. No proximity warning sounds. And no error messages. Same thing when I try to use the parallel park assist button - it no longer scans for available spots. The light just flashes a few times and then goes off.

The screen + camera comes up in reverse only. However it is not possible to push the gear button in reverse. Also the side sensors (under the mirrors?) show up as < ! >. When switching from reverse to drive, the screen and camera go away and the park aid light is off.

I also tried to access the gear menu via the camera but that only brings up the camera settings.

The dealer might have loaded the wrong calibration profile. Take it back the dealer. Not what you wanted to hear, but what you need to do at this point. Keep us posted on what they tell you.

They've been at it all day. Firmware update/refresh didn't work. But there also aren't any fault or error codes coming up. There's a gremlin in there somewhere
